Machars 2011 booklet proposed
The Association is proposing a joint venture with other communities, visitor attractions and business to publish a 2011 guide to the whole Machars area. The meeting for interested parties will be held on 13th July at 7pm, Whithorn Trust Visitor Centre
Beach Clean, St Ninian's Cave
The annual beach clean for this popular local beauty spot is planned for April 18th, 2pm, and bags and gloves will be provided. All volunteers are welcome ! Meet at St Ninian's Cave Car Park at 2pm.
Business Directory 2010
The new Business Directory for this year, 2010, has now been published, and volunteers will shortly be in your area distributing door to door. Caravan parks and information points have already received some deliveries of booklets. If you would like some for your business, please ask and we will deliver ( 01988 500038)
AGM Panel Event
A very successful event was held at our AGM, when invited politicians and distinguished guests debated the burning questions of the day at an "Any Questions?" session. Russell Brown MP, Alasdair Morgan MSP, Councillor Peter Duncan, Rev. A. Currie, Father Ben Lodge, Fiona Colley and Adrian Turpin had the audience's full attention for three hours while they debated the difficult and controversial questions of 2010.
2010 Local Business Directory

2010 AGM, 15th January 2010
All members are welcome to attend the AGM on 15th January 2010, at 7pm at the Whithorn Trust Visitor Centre. An "Any Questions" panel will be held after usual business.

Whithorn and District Business Association has featured in the latest ( June ) issue of DG Life, with interviews with local traders on their lives, work and aspirations.
Bruce Street works
Resurfacing and landscaping works at Bruce Street are near to completion.
Alex Fergusson MSP attends AGM
A most successful evening was held, with Alex Fergusson MSP and Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, who was guest speaker at the AGM. He spoke informatively and wittily on the role of the PO at the Parliament and answered a very wide variety of questions from the audience.
