Whithorn Pharmacy are proud to announce the launch of free ‘Blood Pressure Monitoring’ and ‘Cholesterol Testing’ Services. More services, such as Asthma Check are to follow, all of which come on the back of the recently completed refurbishment program that saw the pharmacy totally revitalised. The new image sees the shop don the town colours of burgundy & white, giving it a much brighter, friendlier look and feel. We were very lucky to have the re-launch conducted for us by Alex Fergusson MSP, Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament.

The additional of a consultation room earlier in the year allowed us to provide a private discussion area for patients to speak in confidence about any healthcare issue. This was then updated to match the rest of the shop at the refit. We are delighted with the improvements and with the dedication of our team of staff who worked tirelessly throughout making the transition as smooth as possible.

It’s our aim to continue to invest in the premises and the town, bringing improved services, innovation, technology and making frontline pharmacy health services as accessible as they can be.
